The two editions draw from the same source data. The print edition is published once every two years, while the web site is updated weekly. All of the information that you can find in the book is also available on the web site, although some things are laid out differently to better suit the online medium, and as yet the diocesan maps do not appear online.
A few individuals have requested that their details be withheld from the online version of Crockford, while still allowing them to be published in the printed edition, but the number of such requests is very low.
