The 100th printed edition of Crockford's Clerical Directory has just been published, and is now available from Church House Publishing.

To search for clergy or benefice details, just use the Search facility to the left of the screen. All visitors can see the results listings, but to access the detailed information you will need to be a subscriber.
Search tips
To search for a person, use their initial and surname - e.g. "J SMITH". To search for a benefice, use a place name to find the best results. More ways of searching and other Search tips are available.
Search for old classmates
With the Education search you can look up former colleagues from a particular theological institution and a particular year. The perfect way to update your Christmas card list! (Available to subscribers only.)
Free listings and free guides
A number of Listings and Guides are available to all visitors, without subscription. They cover subjects such as chaplaincies and the historical successions of bishops and archbishops, how to address the clergy and how to make the best use of this site.

Our records go back as far as 1968. If you are searching for biographical data that goes back further than this date, there are other sources of information available.
